Club Details Database
In order to try and keep communication within the club as streamlined as possible we are trying to build a database of contact details for those involved with the club. Not only will this make the job of the captains easier in contacting the players but it will allow the club to send group emails to everyone with re. to what’s happening with the club and help promote what we have going on.

It was a cold May afternoon down at the factory ground where Donaghcloney were hosting Woodvale in the Senior Cup. There was a first at the Factory ground with coloured clothing and the white ball being used which are the new regulations introduced this year in this cup competition. A big thanks must go out to all those who helped getting the sight screens blackened out and the wicket prepared for the fixture today. It seemed like an awful lot of work for very little in return but such is the NCU they think that coloured clothing makes a difference, I’ll let you make you own minds up!

Firsts lose to Muckamore
The firsts fell short by the small margin 26 runs against a much fancied Muckmore side. Chasing 245 to win Donaghcloney managed 219 all out in reply. Despite the loss the team can take many positives from this performance as Muckamore were made to work hard all the way for the win. The bowlers all bowled a tight line and to the set field while an opening stand of 131 put pressure on the home team’s bowling and fielding.
Great start for seconds
The second eleven started their season with a comprehensive home win over Cooke Collegians. Donaghcloney scored 185 with Gareth Copeland making 85 and Jeff Lyttle 49. Cooke Collegians were then bowled out for 44 with Shane Warren taking 4 for 8 and Mark Campbell chipping in with a further 3 wickets.
Junior Preseason Training
Junior practice will be starting back from this Saturday for preseason training. It will be taking place in the leisure centre in Lisburn. The U11 training will be from 2-3pm and the U13 and U15 training will be from 3-4pm. Look forward to seeing everyone there.
